The video explores the phenomenon of the city of Kopřivnice, whose urban structure and residents' identity have been deeply intertwined with the presence and development of the local Tatra automotive factory since the late 19th century. The work combines three distinct visual layers: personal and fragmentary footage, synthetic CGI space, and the perspective of a contemporary office. The video collage acts as a prologue to a problematic power structure that, from a historical perspective, generates civic solidarity and a shared identity, while simultaneously bringing dependence on external political-historical developments and the mechanisms associated with them.
